Some unidentified persons threw acid on eight people including four police officials in Haroonabad. Some unidentified persons threw acid on a police patrol in Haroonabad near Bahawalnagar, injuring four police officials and four civilians. The police officials affected by the acid attack included Inspector Maqsood, ASI Muzaffar, Kashif and Asghar. One of the attackers was arrested. Meanwhile, the doctors treating the victims said that the eyes of police officials are affected by the acid. According to police, the attackers were busy in a robbery attempt.
