A four-day Expo on Kashmir

An effort for honoring the Kashmir Day has been marked at the Pakistan National Council of Arts (PNCA). An exhibition has been set up there in which more than 25 of the country’s most leading artists have illustrated their creative work. The exhibition started on Wednesday featuring all the paintings related to Kashmir.

An exemplary way of presenting sacrifice, determination, willpower, and strength of mind of the Kashmiris has been picked up by the artists. Everyone who visited the exhibition stopped for a second and imagined about the pain for the people of Kashmir.

Ministry of National Heritage and Integration has organized the exhibition in cooperation with Ministry of Kashmir Affairs, Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir Council in order to familiarize people of Pakistan about the freedom atmosphere in Kashmir. Many of the visitors had claimed that this art work made their eyes wet. It is a great way to pay tribute to those martyrs who are still unsung. The way innocent Kashmiris are fighting for the freedom portrays similar picture of the efforts of Muslims in subcontinent to achieve separate home land “Pakistan”.

Director PNCA, Tauqir Nasir expressed his views saying
“Pakistanis and Kashmiris will continue to raise their voice against the atrocities of India in Kashmir, and keep stressing upon the international community to play its role to convince India to give Kashmiris the right of self-determination in accordance with the resolutions passed by the UN.”
