Karachi, the city of lights and one of the most busy cities of Pakistan has been paid a tribute by artistic, cultural, literary and educational programs held in Arts council of Pakistan throughout the whole year. While talking to an ACP delegation, Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC)’s administrator Muhammad Hussain Syed quoted
“Rise of literary, educational and cultural activities is considered a good sign for any society,”
His point of view regarding cultural heritage is.
“Nations that protect their cultural heritage never see a downfall.”
The administrator of Karachi city has encouraged these types of activities like ACP that really brings up the new talent, great writers, and brilliant poets. This could set an example for the upcoming generation and make our image better in the world.
“The KMC has decided to hold weekly programmes in the city that would include sports events, paintings exhibitions, literary programmes and events for special children,” Syed said.
President of Arts council of Pakistan thanked the administrator of Karachi city for the annual grant that will help to continue the literary and educational activities. Many of the other officers from Arts Council of Pakistan were present at the time of event like the Vice President of ACP Mehmood Ahmed Khan, Muhammad Rehan khan, Development Senior Director & Khurshid Shah, District officer.
