DEATH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATIONS OF QUAID-E-AZAM (11TH SEPTEMBER)

 BABA-E-QAUM, Muhammad Ali Jinnah, commonly known as Quaid-e- Azam was born on 25th December 1876. His father Jinnah Ponjah was a famous merchant. Muhammad Ali Jinnah got his early education in his hometown Karachi but later on for further education, he went to London and when he returned back to India, he had become a barrister. Muhammad Ali Jinnah was a great leader of Pakistan and escape the Muslims of India from the slavery of Pakistan on 14th august 1947 but after the one year, in 1948 he fall into serious illness because he has tuberculosis. Her sister, Mohtarma Fatima Jinnah took care of him for a long time but on 11th September 1949, he died due to his serious illness also because of his age.


Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah has been buried in Karachi where now, there is a famous tomb known as Tomb of Quaid-e-Azam or Mazar-e-Quaid.

On the death anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, government published three postage stamps namely 1½-anna, 3-anna and 10-anna. On the stamps, famous quote of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah is written that is UNITY – FAITH – DECIPLINE.

The anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah is celebrate by Pakistani nation with this promise that they bring prosperity in the country and the all will make combine effort to make Pakistan a real fort of ISLAM.

Every year on 11th September 1949 at his tomb, people gather with great heal. There, they pray special prayers for him and say FATIHA for his soul. Special gathering in mosques, houses, grounds, streets, roads and on churches are made where people also give the recitation of HOLY QURAN and FATIHA KHOAWNI for the soul of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah because he will always be remembered by the entire MUSLIM nation for his remarkable contributions.
