Pakistan economy and culture

Pakistan is an under developing country so, the average per capita income per person in Pakistan is 460 dollars according to an estimation. In Pakistan almost 35 % of the population is living below the poverty line. According to estimation about 54.69 million acres of the land are used for agriculture. The main crops in Pakistan are rice, cotton, sugarcane. In Pakistan large portion of land has archeological sites like Harappa, Moenjo Daro, Kot Dijji, Mahr Garh and Taxilla.

Pakistan is well known for many of commercial activities like selling of handicrafts which includes carpets, decoration items, pottery, blue pottery and many other handicrafts. Major industries of Pakistan are cement, steel, fertilizer, electric goods, textiles and shipbuilding.

The main exports of Pakistan consist of textile goods, leather items, sports goods, rice, fruits carpets, cotton and other handicrafts. Main export industries consist of iron ore, edible oil, vehicles, industrial equipments and petroleum. Trade partners of Pakistan are Hong Kong, United Kingdom, United States, Germany, Japan and United Arab Emirates.

Labor distribution in Pakistan is as 25 % in agriculture, 27 % in industry and 48% in service sector. In Pakistan there is no caste system, large numbers of people are from low income class, there is also high income class, middle income class and also a class that is living below low income line. Such low income people earn their earnings from handicrafts and some other low income work.

Pakistan is now making development in every area like education, export, import, agriculture and many other sectors. Pakistan has a great labor force and now Government is putting them into use to make a developed and strong Pakistan.
