Pakistan’s multi talented Pop star Ali Zafar has finished recording the soundtrack for his upcoming film “London, Paris, New York (LPNY)” at his home studio. “I am ecstatic. I’ve finished my work for the music of London, Paris, New York. Six rocking tracks. Can’t wait for you all to hear,” tweeted the 31-year-old.
The soundtrack of the film consists of six tracks which are produced by renowned producers Goldie Behl and Shrishti Arya. Ali Zafar composed, wrote and sang the all tracks himself. Not only this, he is also playing the lead character in the film along with Indian actor Aditi Rao Hydari. “It’s an intense process but wonderfully satisfying,” said Zafar.
In his interview, Zafar said that the LPNY’s music is not going to be conventional. “I want to create sounds that are fresh like our film. And since the film touches on different emotions, I can experiment with genres. I will use as many ‘live’ instruments as possible to give the songs an organic feel.”
Moreover, he also explained that all the songs reflect the character of three cities- London, Paris and New York. “The London song will be happier, with simpler notes, as compared to the one set in Paris that will be edgier. The New York track, on the other hand, will be more refined.”
Hopefully, London, Paris, New York will be released in the first quarter of 2012. This will be the Zafar’s third Bollywood film as singer-cum-actor. Earlier films are Tere Bin Laden and Mere Brother Ki Dulhan.
