Younas Khan while remaining not out throughout the innings scored 200 runs, and Asad Shafiq scored his first century by scoring a total of 104. The match was held in Chittagong, and Pakistan scored a total of 594-5 then declared in response to 135 all out by Bangladesh.

The Bangladeshi fast bowler Shahadat Hussain once opened his spell got flicked off by Younas Khan reaching his 19th test century by hitting a four. Later Sunny fielding at deep square-leg caught him on a no-ball by Rubel Hussain on 138.
Sunny took out three wickets by giving 123 runs, while fast bowler Shahadat Hussain took one wicket and Off Spinner, Mahmudullah also took a single wicket.
