Actress Keira Knightley got engaged to James Righton, keyboard player and singer of the British rock band ‘Klaxons’. This was revealed by her publicist on Monday.
Knightley’s publicist, Sara Keene, stated that there is no more information about any wedding plan up till now.
According to reports from People Magazine, the couple has been going out for about a year, after Knightley’s breakup with actor Rupert Friend.
Knightley is more famous for her work in the “Pirates of the Caribbean” movies. Other films include “Atonement,” “Pride & Prejudice,” and “Love Actually.” She is also starring as Anna Karenina in the forthcoming movie of with the same title.
Klaxons won the Mercury Music Prize in Britain for their debut album in 2007, “Myths of the Near Future,” which featured the hit “Golden Skans.” Their newest album, “Surfing the Void,” was out in 2010.
The Oscar-nominated 27-year-old actress, who was praised for her role in “Bend It Like Beckham”, is ready to marry the musician.
