It has been reported in Spain that an earlier painting of Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa has been found. It was first witnessed by the Spanish guardians in the artist’s painting studio. The painting looks younger, clean, and gorgeous as compared to original one.
The painting has been restored from the Prado Museum of Madrid. Every aspect of painting matches with the original painting. The painting shows the exact background landscape with a cute smile of Mona Lisa. The original painting is still hanging in the Louvre Museum of Paris.
A warden from Madrid’s Prado Museum said
“Probably the first known copy of La Joconda” – as the Mona Lisa is known – said Miguel Falomir, the painting was done in the painter’s own workshop. It is absolutely consistent with Leonardo’s work”.
Officials of the Museum have decided to publicize the replica with original painting on March 26, 2012. Expert artists believe that it could be the Lisa Gherardini, the wife of a Florentine cloth merchant named Francesco del Giocond in the imaginative painting.
