“No” to Lollywood: Meera

Lollywood actress, Meera khan has revealed that there is no more room for her in the Pakistani film industry. Meera said that she doesn’t want to get herself associated with the Lollywood anymore.  She was seen complaining that people are still mysterious about her work and no respect is being paid to her for work she has done for Pakistani film industry.

“But I’ve done a lot of growing up in the past two years,” she spoke

“I emotionally, mentally and physically live in another world. It’s the world of cinema. I romance characters and live in character. I now realise that that is not real life. I have come out of that bubble and I don’t want to work in this industry anymore,” she added.

She stated that she wants to develop a new image of her in the media. Couple of controversies ruined her career and personality. Now she wants to come up with new personality and will rise again.

“Four days ago, I decided to leave the film industry. I have returned Rs5 million which were given to me in advance for upcoming projects,” said Meera.

“I no longer want to be associated with Lollywood. I am working on a new image for myself and planning a production with people from outside the Lollywood circle,” she added.

She has been found roaming in America for the past two years. She looks now pretty confident about her own project that will possibly be shot in Los Angeles, Bangladesh and India. Meera stated that now her directional debut will bring up a new charm and shine in the industry. New ideas with interesting projection will bound the audience to love her work. She is sure about the production to be started soon. She put forward her plan to cast Ali Zafar, Shaan, Rekha and Raj Babbar.
