Another thrilling episode of entertainment had been set up by the Arts Council of Pakistan on Friday. In order to recall the 60th anniversary for the strong-bonded diplomatic relationship between Pakistan and Japan, the 29th Haiku Mushaira was held.
Joint efforts of both the Pakistan-Japan Cultural Association (PCJA) and Japan Cultural Centre of the Japanese Consulate made the event possible.
Prof. Sahar Ansari chaired the event who is a prominent personality in the field of literature, while Council General of Japan in Karachi Masaharu Sato also attended the Haiku program. Haiku is one of most popular forms in Japanese poetry.
Ms Saadia Rashid, the president of PCJA welcomed the audience with her speech. She also spoke about the tightly-bonded relationship between both countries and appreciated efforts like Haiku program that helps to strengthen the connection
