PIA and MAKE-A-WISH : A flight of Desire

Karachi : PIA and MAKE-A-WISH contributed to fulfill a Desire of sick children from the foundation.

PIA fulfilled the ailing children desire to meet with Bollywood superstar Salman Khan. The meeting was set in Mumbai. PIA is the official sponsor of Make-A-Wish foundation, has contributed a lot for making this dream real. Both institutions put great efforts for the children to make them flew to India for meeting Salman khan. Mrs. Zareen Khan Yousufzai, wife of Managing Director PIA went along with the children that are all facing life-threatening diseases.

Salman Khan also showed his interest in order to meet with the children of Make-A-Wish foundation. Salman khan is also a member of this foundation. The meeting was set up in Mumbai at Mehboob Studios where all children were dressed up in the get up of Salman Khan’s movies Dabang and Bodyguard.

Children presented a letter to Salman requesting for visiting Pakistan along with other Bollywood stars as they can’t come to India often due to their illness. Salman khan promised to do so. He took out a considerable amount of time from his busy schedule and made the children to watch the shooting of his new movie that is under production. Mrs. Zareen Khan Yousafzai presented gifts of traditional Sindhi topi and Ajrak to  Salman.
it is an old Saying; “A bust of a king priest excavated at Mohenjo-daro shows him draped over one shoulder in a piece of cloth that resembles an Ajrak.”

Mr. Sohail Khan, brother of Salman khan was also present at the time of occasion on the set.
