It has been reported by the central Asian state of Tajikistan that movie “The Director” will not be aired in the country. The entertainment agency of the country has categorically refused to feature Sacha Baron Cohen’s comedy film.
“The Director” being a controversial movie since day one yet received good feedbacks after its world wide release. The movie was released last week including Central Asian countries and Russia.
Whereas the Tajik film distribution company has released a press statement claiming that they don’t have enough space to manage all movies at a time.
“We do not have space to show it…. We just cannot show all the films,”
On the other hand, movie critics are claiming this statement as political saying that movies’ content is not feasible according to the film distribution company.
