The festival has been arranged in order to enhance the World Puppetry Day. The main theme for the event is to provide the strength to artists for hosting folk puppet shows across the world. Whereas the worldwide puppetry organization commonly known as “The Union International de la Marionette” witnesses the same day on March 21 of every year.
Officials of the event have confirmed that puppeteers that are participating in the event from the world include Norway, Denmark, France, Iran and India-and 12 Pakistani.
Some traditional performances like horses’ dance, mascot’s parade, and camels’ dance added color to the lively festival.
