Titanic’s lunch menu sold

It has been reported that the classy lunch menu from Titanic ship has been extracted and sold on Saturday for 76,000 pounds. The news has been confirmed by the auction house.

Date on the menu is clearly visible that is April 14, 1912. It was the same night when the so-called unsinkable ship hit an iceberg and drowned. More than 1,500 people were reported dead.

One of the most successful England-based auctioneers Henry Aldrige & son claimed that the Titanic’s lunch menu is “the rarest items of Titanic memorabilia to be sold in recent years,”

The menu that has been extracted years after the incident is said to be for first-class passengers. A lady Ruth, Dodge’s wife had kept that menu in purse as she escaped from the scene of incident by lifeboat successfully with her son.
