Sania Maskatiya was completed her graduation from the prestigious Indus valley school of Art and Architecture in Karachi, Pakistan and she achieved the degree of textile design from there. Only a year after of her graduation she started designing since 2007, she first started work under the label ‘chamak’. In 2010 she thought to work under an exciting bid by expand into broad fashion endeavors, she launched a new label that her own label, now Sania Maskatiya.
Sania when talk about her design ethos she said about
“My philosophy is based on the beauty of cuts to together in harmony with measured embellishment. I believe in change in transforming the conventional to contemporary.” Moreover, sania’s designing surrounds unique colors, using imagery inspired colors by nature that is suited for all aged women.”
Sania Maskatiya design house of fashion uses only pure fabrics cut and always struggle for the unique and creative outlook across all their fashion lines. Indeed this house of fashion engages only the finest craftsman, hailing from generations of artisans practicing time honored craftsmanship and embroideries. Sania showcased her design to the national in Pakistan and international circuit. In Dubai at was fashion show in March 2010 with a multi-brand boutique Soiree where her work was seen on the ramp. After completed this project successfully in Pakistan, the designer showcased a collection at the popular Fashion Pakistan Week, held in April 2010 to critical acclaim. Now, more recently in November 2010, sania also held a successful exhibition in Mumbai, India.
Sania launched a debut store in Karachi. This flagship outlet stocks all Sania Maskatiya lines, her designed popular block print, embroideries and everyday kurtas along with formal wear and evening couture. The flagship store’s interior was designed by Fatima Salahuddin and the event was managed by Samina Ghani. In addition Sania Maskatiya currently available in Pakistan at multi brand boutiques Ensemble and Labels and in Dubai at multi brand boutique Soiree.
