Alarming situation of gas crisis in Sindh

KARACHI: Dr Asim Hussain Federal Minister for petroleum and natural resources said that the government is studying a month long closure of CNG stations in Sindh including Karachi because of existing gas crises.

While speaking to the students of university of Karachi Dr Asim said gas closure reached to an alarming situation in the country resulted in the closure of CNG stations, fertilizers and industries.

Keeping in view the current situation of the country regarding gas crises the Government is contemplating over CNG closure in Sindh including Karachi for about 1 month.

CNG stations are closed for about three days every week in Punjab he added that this was the very first time this kind of step is taken for Balochistan and SIndh and two day CNG closure is continued.
