KARACHI – people and drivers needed to face severe struggles because of closure of CNG stations across Sindh on Saturday. Underneath the gas load-management plan, Sui Southern Gas Company Pipelines Limited (SSGPL) suspended the gas supply for CNG stations of Sindh for 24 hours beginning from 8:00am Saturday. Because of closure of CNG stations, trains and buses on various routes continued to be non-existence and miseries from the people increased. The drivers also faced struggles because of non-accessibility to gas and prices of patrol. A lot of people including women, children, labourers and students were seen at bus stops of numerous districts of Sindh to consider these to their preferred locations. Speaking to INP news agency, people of Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Larkana, Nawabshah, Tando Adam along with other districts criticized the federal government for neglecting to enhance the situation regarding gas crisis. These were from the view that because of poor performance of provincial and federal government authorities, the CNG crisis had elevated further and therefore elevated the miseries of public who have been already within the grip of multifaceted crises including law and order, cost-hike and prolonged electricity load losing which in fact had negatively hurt the domestic customers besides halting the commercial production and commercial activities.
