The Cultural Association of Pakistan Graduates held a condolence meeting for famous singer Mehnaz Begum.The meeting was chaired by SM Zafar. The participants from the meeting expressed deep grief around the sad demise of Mehnaz and compensated tribute towards the eminent singer of South Asia. They offered fateha for that departed soul and demonstrated their sympathies towards the surviving family to deal with this permanent loss. Association Secretary General Jameel Gishkori presented a condolence resolution. The participants stated that they was an expert within the area of singing in Pakistan specifically in singing ghazal and thumri. Sozkhwani, Marsia and Salam were also her niche in singing. All tunes sang by her grew to become favourite. She was granted Graduate Honours in fields of singing on Radio, TV and flicks. Association Chief Patron SM Zafar stated Mehnaz would be a full of classical music in Pakistan. She devoted her whole existence for that promotion of quality music. An installment of music was closed after her departure out of this world, he added. However the tunes sang by her can be taken in for any long period as her great reminiscences and contributions towards the music of South Asia. Ultimately people also condoled for that demise from the mother of artists Sohail Ahmed and offered fateha on her. Khalid Ghias, Ali Zafar, M. Saeed Khan, Khawar Rafique, Jameel Gishkori, Zia Haider Rizvi, Yasmin Seghal, Khurshid Akhtar Khan, Shahid Tahir and Qadir Sehgal also participated.
