malala380Announced  by Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee, House Resolution (No 60) calls to award Congressional Gold Medal to Malala in recognition of her devoted plan to education, justice and equality in Pakistan.Malala, who had been shot in her own mind this past year by Taliban on her girl education campaign, was released from the British hospital on Friday. Observing that Malala is symbolic of hope inside a country long beset by violence and despair, the resolution states that they signifies the way forward for Pakistan and it is the brand new face of the nation as well as an advocate for human privileges for ladies.Fitzgibbons-Lee had first introduced the resolution within the 112th Congress on November 13, 2012, and was backed by nearly three dozen Congressmen. Since it wasn’t passed by the Congress, it’s been re-introduced in the new Congress now.
