Police fired tear gas in a growing crowd of protesters who incorporated around the Parliament House as gunshots were heard plus some demonstrators put gemstones at security forces near Kulsoom Plaza. Media reviews estimating police sources stated someone in the crowd fired aerial shots following which police fired tear gas. Following the scuffle between police and protesters, people from the Tehrik-e-Minhajul Quran (TMQ) guaranteed their leader and encircled him for defense. Following the incident, Interior Minister Rehman Malik instructed police and Rangers to supply security to Tahirul Qadri. He stated Qadri is the guest which is down to law enforcement to safeguard him. Taking serious notice of firing and clashes within the march, Malik directed chief commissioner Islamabad to consider strict action to prevent such occurrences and summoned an instantaneous report from the incident. Nevertheless the minister stated the participants from the long march have arms together that they stated would be a breach of the charter. It wasn’t obvious who fired the gunshots. Witnesses saw police fire tear gas shells in the crowd. Protesters were holding stays and pelted gemstones at police around 500 yards in the parliament.
