The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Wednesday adjourned the hearing of petition against Asim Malik, allegedly involved with swindling money from people due to delivering them abroad, till January 21 and searched for a study from Federal Analysis Agency (FIA). Justice Mazahar Ali Akbar Naqvi heard over 125 applications from the accused Asim Malik, who owns Future Concern (Pvt) Limited. Throughout the path of the proceedings, Additional Attorney General Abul Hai Gilani stated that the report regarding steps for Asim’s arrest and assists have been prepared but was unsigned by FIA director general because of current political situation in Islamabad. He pleaded a legal court to permit additional time for filing the report. A court after hearing the arguments adjourned the problem till January 21.The petitioners, through their petition, posted that Asim Malik had conned countless rupees from people around the pretext of delivering them abroad. The petitioners stated that Asim hadn’t met his end of bargain and failed to return back the money.
