Militants released 17 hostages

Pakistani militants released 17 hostages who were kidnapped from Pakistan’s Bajaurr tribe when they were celebrating Eid in September, 2011, they all were young of the age between 20 to 30. Today they released 17while keeping 8 to 10 still in custody. The release has been confirmed by authorities. The group had been abducted by a militant group allied with militant commander Maulvi Faqir Muhammad, who led local insurgents but is believed he has fled to Afghanistan in 2010.
