ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry stated on Wednesday that there’s no place for any other system in the country except of democracy. Hearing a Employees Party petition about election reforms, the main justice stated we have strengthen democracy and also the democratic institutions. A three-member bench headed by CJP searched for an answer from the government regarding compulsory voting within the general elections. A court stated it may appreciate when the government legislates for compulsory voting. The main justice asked from Attorney General of Pakistan Irfan Qadir that which was setup of the government around the problem.Qadir responded the government needed to legislate for the reason that regard. He stated that in lots of nations, including America and Canada, there is no condition of compulsory voting.
