The Chief Minister revealed the plaque of the underpass and undergone it with PMl-N workers scrambling around him. The CM stated the project had cost Rs five billion to the national exchequer and praised the project like a prototype of transparency. Addressing the people on the event Shahbaz assured that development projects carried out in Lahore will be completed soon. It had been stated the Kalma Chowk underpass will be opened up for traffic on Feb 15 and development work on MM Alam road is at its final stages.
The CM grieved that some political parties were shaming Muhammad Ali Jinnah to achieve temporary political advantages, underscoring that “Creation of Pakistan is definitely an unparalleled achievement that the Quaid carried out.” The CM expressed sorrow over Thursday’s deadly attack in Quetta and promised to finish violence in Karachi, Swat and Balochistn if PML-N was chosen in to the National assembly having a majority.
The CM added that individuals who have been crticising the continuing infrastructural projects of Punjab were insecure because they tried nothing for uplift of public throughout their reigns. He introduced the Metro Bus Service project could be made operational ‘soon’ and stated the project had cost Rs30 billion. He stated the metro bus project will provide ‘comfortable, affordable and safe travelling facilities for the people’. Later the CM entertained the complaints of people from the police. The CM stated that hurdles in the way to justice wouldn’t be tolerated, adding, the police should behave as a servant of the public.
