ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Cultural Week festivities, which have been formally opened up through the Pm of Pakistan Raja Parvez Ashraf, are under way.
Throughout the outlet ceremony, outstanding artists, entertainers and ballroom dancers fascinated audiences using their thrilling performances held at National Memorial. Artists who carried out were well-known pop singer Hadiqa Kiani, folk performers Ashiq Jatt, Shazia Khushk, Akhtar Channal and Haseena Naz.
Though all of the taking part artists were greatly respected through the audience, Hadiqa Kiani and Akhtar Channal’s performances continued to be wonderful. Hadiqa Kiani made herself noted in 1995 together with her debut album Raaz and then was nominated and won numerous honors in Pakistan and abroad. Since her debut, she’s launched five albums. Kiani was named “Best Pop Female Singer” in Pakistan.
Akhtar Chanal’s distinctive voice carries by using it the tales of the great singer’s birthplace – the sweltering fields of Balochistan, where youthful shepherds are elevated towards the tunes of regional folk tunes when they work.
These tunes continue to be sung in the fields of Balochistan in Brahui language, too as with Afghanistan as well as in Turkestan and Sistan, Iran.
Folk ballroom dancers incorporated famous Kalash group, Cholistani dance group, Balochi leva group, Sindhi dance party and traditional drummers (Dholis) from Punjab. PNCA folkloric ensemble “Taxila Odyessi” also carried out around the occasion.
