PM Yousaf Raza Gillani on Saturday eliminated the potential of a long march through the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) from the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP)-brought government, stating that the opposition party had lost its possibility of a long march against former leader General (r) Pervez Musharraf throughout his regime. The PML-N had introduced to stage a long march to overthrow Gilani’s government after his conviction through the Top Court for willfully flouting court orders on writing letter to Swiss government bodies for reopening corruption cases against Leader Asif Ali Zardari. While addressing a public gathering at Jassar-Shakargarh near Narowal, Gilani stated time it was not ripe for just about any long march. He stated the PML-N was keen on long marches but there is virtually no time or possibility of any long march from the PPP government. He stated the PML-N had lost the risk of fulfilling its political will of staging a lengthy march against Musharraf. Now it’s useless for that PML-N to weep over spilt milk, Gilani stated. He stated the PML-N was playing untimely political tunes to trick the public by looking into making lame political excuses.
