Popular Singer Mehnaz passed away

9964Mehnaz Begum, a classical  singer from the 80s who understood worldwide popularity of her classical, ghazal, thumri and drupad singing, died in Bahrain on Saturday. She was 55.Mehnaz breathed her last while she had been flown towards the US for treatment. Her condition deteriorated out of the blue and she or he was rushed to some hospital in Bahrain but tend to not survive. She’d been struggling with a respiratory system problem and diabetes. Born to famous sub-continental singer Kajjan Begum as well as an important government official Abdullah Tasnim in Karachi in 1957, Mehnaz gave numerous valued tracks like a classical singer. She sang over 2,500 tunes for that radio‚ television and flicks the second biggest next of Malika-e-Taranum Madam Noor Jehan’s. Her broadly acclaimed ghazals incorporated “Ab Kay Tajdeed-e-Wafa Ka Nahi Imkaan” and “Mujhe Dil Se Na Bhulana”. She is versatile that they even made her mark on khayal, dadra and drupad singing. Mehnaz also recited salam, noha and marsiya. Leader Asif Ali Zardari, Pm Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Qamar Zaman Kaira, MQM chief Altaf Hussain, Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ebad and lots of other government and people in politics have expressed sorrow within the sad demise from the legendary singer.
