Mehnaz Begum, a classical singer from the 80s who understood worldwide popularity of her classical, ghazal, thumri and drupad singing, died in Bahrain on Saturday. She was 55.Mehnaz breathed her last while she had been flown towards the US for treatment. Her condition deteriorated out of the blue and she or he was rushed to some hospital in Bahrain but tend to not survive. She’d been struggling with a respiratory system problem and diabetes. Born to famous sub-continental singer Kajjan Begum as well as an important government official Abdullah Tasnim in Karachi in 1957, Mehnaz gave numerous valued tracks like a classical singer.
