SC visit by GC students

A 35-member delegation of scholars of Govt College University visited the Supreme Court on Thursday. The delegation visited a legal court rooms, court library, ceremonial halls and also the monument before Supreme Court building. Additionally they attended court room proceedings. The delegation known as on Justice Jawwad Khawaja, who stated it’s the task from the media to make sure precision in confirming and also to inform, educate and guide people. Also, he stressed on the requirement for objective confirming and advised the media to inform an optimistic role in the society. Encouraging the scholars, Justice Khawaja that media have been entrusted with the task of discovering facts and stated that young journalists should positively pursue the reality. Also, he apprised the scholars about his recent judgment in Hamid Mir yet others versus Federation of Pakistan case. He layed out outlined the terms reference and developed a two-member commission headed by Justice (r) Nasir Aslam Zahid and Javed Jabbar, a famous journalist. The scholars from the college stated the efforts and obligations of judges from the Supreme Court for the reason for constitutionalism were unparalleled.
