KARACHI: on Tuesday Dr Ishratul Ebad Khan Sindh governor principally approved a medical college and university for Hyderabad city and asked the secretaries of the education, law and health to complete all the formalities in this regard earliest.
Heading a meeting at Governor house , it was finalized that second largest city of the Sindh province Hyderabad would have a general university named as Muhammad Ali Jinnah University and a medical college.
Governor ordered allocation of 500acres land for the proposed university.
Initially this university will start working in comprehensive School Latiabad-10 premises, while the proposed medical college will be established in Kohsar area.
Working on the project will be started under annual development scheme of the year.
HAD (Hyderabad Development Authority) is instructed by Governor to initiate work on the proposed project of education city in Hyderabad.
