Zulqarnain wishes for a come back

ISLAMABAD: Zulqarnain Haider Pakistan’s dismissed wicketkeeper said that he is looking forward for a marvelous comeback to the international cricket after having a spectacular contribution in ongoing Quaid-e-Azam trophy.

At the moment I am the ideal domestic wicket keeper, I am looking forward that Zaka Ashraf PCB chairman will consider me.  I am also aware that selectors and board have eyes on fit and best players. So, I am also hoping that they will have a look on my performance this season as well” Haider said

He also added that I have no regrets over my behavior in 2010 series against South Africa in United Arab Emirates but admit that he could handle the situation in a better way.

I still keep my words that I leave team in UAE and my decision is in accordance with betterment of team. He said

Because of the security efforts of PCB chairman Zaka Pakistan cricket is getting better day by day and we are hoping that all these problems will eliminate or reduced completely soon. Zulqarnain said

After allegedly receiving security threats Haider had fled from his team’s hotel in Dubai. These threats were from bookmakers just before the fifth and final ODI match between South Africa and Pakistan.

PCB however imposed a charge on him and reprimanded him for making the false accusations after carrying out a survey into the issue.
