  • Ingredients:


    Put 2 cups sugar and 1 cup water in a pan and make a syrup
    Roll out pastry dough into 5 thin strips
    Melt butter, grease baking tray.
    Place one strip of pastry on tray and brush it with bitter. Repeat process twice
    Layer with chopped pistachios, cardamom, remaining sugar and walnuts.Place pastry strip over it and spread butter on it
    Repeat the same process
    With the help of sharp knife cut Baklawa into pieces
    Bake in pre-heated oven at 180 C for 20mins
    Pour sugar syrup on it until Baklawa absorbs syrup
    Serve it
