Basic Eggless Sponge Cake

Sponge cakes are thought to be the first of the non-yeast-based cakes and rely primarily on trapped air in a protein matrix (generally of beaten eggs) to provide leavening, sometimes with a bit of baking powder chemical leaven added as insurance. Highly decorated sponge cakes with lavish toppings are sometimes called Gateau; the French word for cake.
sieve flour , meetha soda and baking powder together from a little height this way air will incorporate in it then in a mixing bowl take condensed milk and butter together beat it well after that add sieved flour material slowly,1 tbsp at one time; add milk as per your own requirment beat well in one direction only; air should be well incorporated in that; a smooth and shiny mixture is now ready to bake; grease a mould as per ur own choice and pre heat oven at 220 degree centigrade ;it will take approx.1 hour to bake a gud cake it will rise double in size; to check if the cake is baked from inside; insert a toothpick in that;if it comes dry then ur cake is ready; bring it out from the oven n let it cool at room temperature never cool it under a fan it will dry after half an hour take the cake out of the pan and cake is ready to eat or u can ice it according to ur choice.
