Claypot Rice

“Clay Pot” is the traditional pot in Pakistan and all Asian countries. People love cooking chicken and rice in it as it completely change the taste. Claypot rice is one of the known recipe and is loved by all.

  • Ingredients:


    • Heat the oil in a non-stick pan and add 4-5 chopped spring onions, 8-10 pieces of broccoli and add salt.
    • Add a little water and heat it on high flame for 2 minutes.
    • Add the sliced ginger and 4-5 quartered button mushrooms and mix them.
    • Mix the corn flour in chicken stock of about 1tbsp. also add sugar, 2 tsp of soya sauce, 1 cup chicken stock and the corn flour mixture on pan and cook
    • Now add salt and pepper powder and mix them well.
    • Add 1-1/2 cup rice to this mixture and mix well and then transfer the mixture in the clay pot.
    • Mix it well and simmer it for about 5 minutes
    • Garnish it with ginger and sliced green chillis and Serve hot.
