Coconut Rice

Mixture of both clarified butter and coconut make an extremely flavourful rice called Coconut Rice which is truly magical. Very simple to make, yet packed with richness this Coconut Rice is a great combo with any Vegetarian or Non Vegetarian curried gravies.

    Directions:

    Heat clarified butter in a pan.
    Add spices cinnamon stick,cloves and cardamon fry for a seconds.
    Add sliced onion,and ginger garlic paste saute’ till brown in color
    Add sliced tomato,soaked rice and salt.
    Fry rice for few minutes.
    Add coconut milk an water,mint and coriander leaves, stir it well,close the lid.
    Let it be covered for 20 mins
    Serve hot
