A dish fit for the royals! vegetables like pumpkin, baby corn and onions are sautéed before being boiled and then simmered with boiled dals.
- bottle gourd pieces,
- cumin seeds,
- garam masala,
- Ginger Garlic Paste,
- Turmeric powder
Wash and soak lentils for half an hour. Drain.
Pressure cook lentils with 3 cups of water, turmeric powder and salt till done.
Whisk till lentil is mashed and keep aside.
Heal oil in a pan, add onions and saute’ till onions turn translucent.
Add tomatoes ginger garlic paste, grated coconut, coriander cumin seed powder, red chilli powder, garam masala and saute’ for 3 minutes.
Add pumpkins, baby corn, green chillies, cooked lentil and 1 cup of water and bring to a boil.
Simmer till vegetables are done and add coriander.
Simmer for more minutes
