Daal Makhni

“Dal makhni” is very delicious and flavorful healthy lentils cooking, it is the famous dish of Punjab. It is full of calcium and protein which is very best fro your body. Eat it with makai ki rotti to enhance it taste.

  • Ingredients:

    Directions:

    • In a pan take 25g of whole black lentils, ½ tsp salt, ½ tsp turmeric, 1tsp cumin seed and 2 tsp ginger garlic paste, cook it on low flame until lentil is tender.
    • Then add ½ cup cream, 2tbsp green chili paste, ½ bunch coriander leaves, and 4 whole green chilies, mix it well and turn the flame off.
    • In fry pan heat 2tbsp oil add 50 gm butter, 4 chopped garlic cloves and 1tsp cumin seed.
    • Fry it well and spread it on the lentils mixture.
    • Then garnish with ginger and mint leaves.
