This version of biryani is eye-catching, celestial to the smell and mouth watering.Rice grains are soft but separate from each other, almost religiously following the definition of an ideal biryani. Taste is better than just good. You will begin to feel the aroma as soon as it is served
- Basmati Rice,
- cumin seeds,
- food color,
- garam masala,
- Ginger Garlic Paste,
- Turmeric powder,
Heat oil in a deep bottom pan add ginger garlic paste.
Add chicken and cook it for 3 minutes.
Add yogurt, turmeric powder, cardamom, salt, tomato, coriander leaves, mint leaves, red chili powder, garam masala, and cumin powder.
Cook for 10 minutes
Add cooked onion and food color.
In a separate deep bottom pan add bay leaves, cloves, salt in water. Boil the rice and drain them.
First spread rice over the same rice pan then spread chicken mixture and again covered it with rice.
In the last add kewra essence, 3 tbsp of hot clarified butter over the rice
Cover it with the lid and cook for 10 minutes on low heat
Serve hot with raita
