Gajjar Ka Halwa
It is a traditional Punjabi dish made with carrots and milk. Gajar Halwa is delicious warm or cold.
Grind almonds and cashews.
Grate carrots in the processor.
Melt butter in a wok.
Keep on a low flame. Add cardamoms and carrots.
Saute’ for 3 mins.
Add cashews, almonds and sweetened condensed milk.
Mix well.Cover and cook for 30 mins.
Add sugar if needed. Cook for 15 more mins.
Dish it out and garnish it with cashews.
