A fruity, nutty pulao which is colorful with a touch of saffron.The cuisine is famous for using a huge assortment of nuts and dried fruits from all over Central and Western Asia.
- Basmati Rice,
- Turmeric powder,
Wash and soak rice.
Heat oil inn a pan and fry onions till golden brown,remove and keep aside.
In the same oil fry whole spices, turmeric powder, add rice and saute’.
Add half-saffron dissolved in little warm milk.
Add water and cook a little.
Add remaining saffron and cook till done.
Garnish with fried onions, walnuts and cashew nuts.
