Lamb Leg Roast

Roasting is a “dry heat” cooking method, meaning that you do not add any liquid to the meat as you cook it. Dry heat is best for cuts of meat that are naturally tender.

  • Ingredients:


    Clean lamb and cut deep slashes in it
    Blend clarified butter with all spices, lemon juice and salt,pour into deep slashes in lamb
    Add salt in yogurt and spread it over lamb leg
    Put lamb leg in the foil paper and cover with foil paper, and chill overnight
    Preheat oven to 450F
    Roast lamb in oven
    Apply butter on it after every 15 minutes
    When lamb leg is cooked, take it out into a platter
    Serve hot
