The koftas (meatballs) in this dish can be made with beef, lamb or chicken. It makes a great meal when served with zeera rice and mix salad.
In a bowl mix first five ingredients .
Divide the mixture into medium size balls to make koftas and keep aside.
Heat oil in a large saucepan and add ginger garlic paste. Saute for a minute and add yogurt. Keep stirring on low heat for 8 mins.
Add brown onion and cashew nut pastes, chilli, coriander and turmeric powders. Mix well and add little water and salt.
Add meatballs in the gravy
Cover and cook till cooked through.
Serve hot with hot naan
