This plum chutney is not only delicious, its also versatile… It can be used as a dip, as a side-dish with rotis and as a sauce for vegetables
Heat oil in a pan and fry red chilies and mustard seeds with pan covered.
Add plums, cinnamon powder, vinegar , lime juice and salt . Stir well.
Cook for five minutes and add water and cook until the plums disintegrate.
Add sugar. Simmer for 5 minutes.
Let it cool and store in the fridge.
