Puri is very oily but very tastey. In Pakistan, people eat it with channas and halwas. It includes in breakfast.

    In a bowl add flour, baking soda, salt, 2tbsp oil and required water.
    Knead it and form a dough
    Cover and set aside for 1 hour
    Flatten the small doughs into slightly thick discs with rolling pin.
    Heat oil in a wok for deep frying, when hot slide one disc at a time.
    When it start puffing, take it out and fry the rest
    Serve hot
