Shami kebab is a very delicious side dish in pakistan. Childrens specially like it.

Prepare a mixture of beef, lentils, dry species, yogurt, ginger and garlic. Add 5 cups of water in it and boil till the meat becomes tender. Leave the mixture so that it becomes cool.
Then chop the mixture in a food processor. Add all the chopped ingredients in this mixture, 1 beaten egg and mix it well. Wet your palm and put 1 tbspn of the mixture on it and shape it into a smooth ball. Press the ball from the centre and shape it into a smooth half flat round shape. Repeat this process for the remaining mince.
Heat the cooking oil in a frying pan and add 3-4 kebabs at a time and fry on low heat to a crisp golden color on both sides.
Serve with rice/nan or paratha or anything of your own choice.
