Whole Roasted Fish

It almost seems perverse to take a fish, that wateriest of creatures, from its ocean home and subject it to the pummeling heat blast of an oven. But it’s a magical punishment, like that which turns coal into diamonds. That dry, powerful heat concentrates the fish’s flavor while rapidly cooking the interior to an even, pearlescent finish.

  • Ingredients:


    Wash and clean fish properly
    In a small bowl, add lemon juice, ginger garlic paste, red chilies, cumin seeds, black pepper, red colour and salt.Mix well.
    Spread this mixture all over the fish and put inside stomach of the fish.
    Marinate for 8 hours.
    Heat oil in a pan.
    Place marinated fish in pan.
    Cook on each side until done.
    Take it out in a serving dish.
    Garnish with salad leaves
    Serve hot
